Ebook - Better English Pronunciation

One of the chief problems I found regarding the learning of the English language was the pronunciation. I then found out about the Better English Pronuciation and I must admit that it helped me a lot. The information it includes is very useful and if you are patient and persistent you can take great advantatge of it. One of great things about this book is that it follows a step-by-step learning procedure. I consider the introduction it gives about the sounds separately really helpful because it allows the student to concentrate just on each sound and dominate it before going further and mixing them to pronounce words.

Apart from that, I reckon that the special treatment that the author gives to the pronunciation problems of speakers of different languages is truly helpful and adequate. I found most of my own pronunciation problems mentioned in this book as well as useful information about how to overcome them.

Last but not least, the practice material and cassettes enclosed turned out to be very suitable to be able to check by myself my pronunciation.

I thoroughly recommend this book to students of English as a foreign language, specially those who thing that need some help with their pronunciation.
